三、教起因緣者，就中有五：一、一切教起緣；二、三乘教起緣；三、空有教起緣；四、三藏教起緣；五、此論教起緣。

Third, the causes and conditions for the arising of the teachings: within this there are five: 1. the conditions for the arising of all teachings; 2. the conditions for the arising of the teachings of the three vehicles; 3. the conditions for the arising of the teachings on emptiness and existence; 4. the conditions for the arising of the teachings of the Tripiṭaka; 5. the conditions for the arising of the teaching of this treatise.
