論「為對治彼至知法亦爾」，此引證也。既六恒住對彼喜、憂、捨三，故知此三唯染污，與意相牽數行境故，治彼名住。

[On the Śāstra's statement:] 'In order to remedy them [up to] know that dharmas are also thus', this cites proof. Since the six constant abidings counter those three—joy, grief, and equanimity—we know that these three are solely defiled; because they are drawn along with the mind to frequently range over objects, remedying them is called 'abiding.'
