「論曰至無潤功能」，此明生有唯染污也。然通一切，若生欲界即三十六，色、無色界各三十一，皆能結生，不簡上緣、無漏緣等。

"The Śāstra says ... has no capacity to moisten." This clarifies that existence at birth is exclusively defiled. However, it applies to all [cases]: if born in the desire realm, there are thirty-six; in the form and formless realms, thirty-one each; all are capable of linking rebirth, without excluding those that condition higher realms, those that condition the uncorrupted, and so forth.
