論「彼釋非理至挍量難勝」，論主破。就中有二：一違文故，謂經說施贍部林中一異生故，今言所有一切住贍部洲，非是一故；二一切贍部異生，理勝一百外道仙，何足為奇挍量歎勝。

On the treatise's statement, "That explanation is not reasonable ... it would be difficult to excel in comparison": the treatise master refutes it. Within this there are two reasons: first, it contradicts the text, for the sūtra speaks of giving to one ordinary person in the Jambū Grove, but now it is said to be all who dwell in Jambudvīpa, which is not one; second, all ordinary persons of Jambudvīpa are inherently superior to a hundred non-Buddhist ṛṣis, so why would it be remarkable to compare them and praise their superiority?
