論「理亦不然至阿羅漢故」，論主破也。施近佛地菩薩得福勝施俱胝阿羅漢，如何此中對外道仙挍量勝劣也？
On the treatise's statement, "The principle is also not so ... an arhat": the treatise master refutes it. The merit obtained from giving to a bodhisattva near the stage of buddhahood excels giving to koṭis of arhats; how could he here be compared in superiority and inferiority against non-Buddhist ṛṣis?
