論「異於我慢類體是何」，論主問大德也。恃我慢類即是九慢類，此即我慢之差別也。異於我慢，類性是何？

The treatise says: "Apart from the conceit 'I am' (asmimāna), what is the intrinsic nature of the category (vidhā)?" The author of the treatise questions the venerable master. Clinging to the category of the conceit "I am" is just the nine categories of conceit; these are precisely the varieties of the conceit "I am". Apart from the conceit "I am", what is the intrinsic nature of the category?
