10.72

論「行相極似觸依觸而生故」，答也。行相極似觸，釋上樂等受所領故。依觸而生故，釋上能為受行相依。

On the Śāstra's statement: "Because the mental mode closely resembles contact and arises based on contact": this is the answer. 'The mental mode closely resembles contact' explains the former 'being apperceived by feelings such as pleasure'. 'Because it arises based on contact' explains the former 'being able to serve as the support for the mental mode of feeling'.
