11.101

「論曰至各唯二萬」，明山頂量。就中二說：一云上下量等，中腰細也；一云下廣上狹。准頌八萬，即通兩釋，或徑或周，然以山徑八萬為正。

The Commentary states, "From 'The summit of this mountain' up to 'each is only twenty thousand,'" explaining the measurement of the mountain's summit. Within this, there are two explanations: one says that the top and bottom are equal in measure, while the middle waist is narrow; another says that the bottom is broad and the top is narrow. According to the verse's statement of eighty thousand, both explanations are possible, whether as diameter or circumference; however, taking the mountain's diameter as eighty thousand is the correct view.
