論「故經依此說四大王眾天」，引經釋名。以所部領，天非一類，故名眾也。
The treatise says: "Therefore, relying on this, the sūtra speaks of the Cāturmahārājakāyika devas." This cites the sūtra to explain the name. Because the devas they govern are not of one kind, they are called a 'host' (kāyika).
