論「前說無表大種所造性」，已下大文第二明能造大。於中有三：一表、無表大種同異；二明造時同異；三約地同異。此即第一。

The treatise says: "It was previously said that the unmanifest is of the nature of being derived from the great elements." Below, the second major section clarifies the great elements that produce [matter]. In this there are three parts: first, the identity and difference of the great elements of manifest and unmanifest [matter]; second, clarifying the identity and difference regarding the time of derivation; third, identity and difference in terms of the realms. This is the first part.
