論「說一晝夜近住律儀」，大文第七明近住戒。於中有三：一明受戒儀式、二明八支所以、三明受人不同。此文初也。

The treatise says: "Expounding the one-day-and-night upavāsa restraint." The seventh major section clarifies the upavāsa precepts. Herein there are three parts: first, clarifying the ritual for receiving the precepts; second, clarifying the reasons for the eight factors; third, clarifying the differences among persons receiving them. This text is the first.
