「論曰至厭離心故」，明八戒有三種支：一尸羅支、二不放逸支、三禁約支，如文可解。《正理論》云「厭離能證律儀果故。」

The commentary states: "The śāstra says: [...] due to the mind of revulsion", which clarifies that the eight precepts have three types of factors: first, the factor of śīla; second, the factor of vigilance (apramāda); third, the factor of restraint. This is understandable according to the text. The Nyāyānusāra states: "Because revulsion is able to realize the fruit of saṃvara."
