論「四由事物至罝網等事」，第四捨也。《正理論》云「本由彼事引無表生，彼事壞時無表便斷。」《婆沙》、《雜心》其意亦同。

The Śāstra says: "Fourth, by [destruction of] physical objects: [such as when an act was undertaken through] fishnets and bird-traps [which are subsequently destroyed]." This is the fourth [cause of] abandonment. The Nyāyānusāra states: "Originally, the non-revelation was caused to arise dependent on that object; when that object is destroyed, the non-revelation is terminated." The Vibhāṣā and Samyuktābhidharmahṛdaya share this same intention.
