15.19

論「有情定者至當離殺等」，釋有情定。若言家獸不殺、野獸即殺，非怨不殺、怨即殺等，是有情定。

On the Śāstra's: "The limitation of sentient beings... shall abstain from killing and so forth", this explains the limitation of sentient beings. If one says that one will not kill domesticated animals but will kill wild beasts, or will not kill non-enemies but will kill enemies, and so on, this is the limitation of sentient beings.
