「論曰至尋伺俱故」，釋唯感心受。無尋伺地，無身受也，以五識定與尋、伺相應故。已上諸地無尋、伺，故無五識也。

"The Śāstra says: […] because they are associated with investigation and examination"—this explains [karma] that induces only mental feeling. In stages without investigation and examination, there is no physical feeling, because the five [sense] consciousnesses are necessarily associated with investigation and examination. In the stages above, there is no investigation or examination, and therefore no five [sense] consciousnesses.
