論「若犯他勝至出家受戒」，有部難也。若犯重罪，以無戒故不名比丘，何不重為受具足戒？既不許受，故知不捨。
On the text "If committing a defeat … go forth and receive the precepts": the Vaibhāṣika objects. If by committing a grave offense one is not called a monk due to lacking precepts, why is one not permitted to receive full ordination again? Since one is not permitted to receive them, we know that they are not abandoned.
