論「此從國王至況出家者」，答也。此論引自妻、妾為例，而釋從國王得，更無異解。《正理論》云「苾芻尼等如有戒妻，若有侵淩亦成業道。有說：此罪於所住王，以能護持及不許故。若王自犯，業道亦成。故前所說於理為勝。」

[On the passage in the] treatise: 'This is against the king […] how much more so for one who has gone forth!': This is the answer. This treatise cites one's own wife and concubine as an analogy, explaining that it is incurred against the king, with no alternative interpretation. The Nyāyānusāra states: 'If there is an assault upon a bhikṣuṇī and so on who is like a wife with vows, a karmapatha is also accomplished. Some say: This offense is against the king under whom she resides, because he is capable of protecting her and does not permit it. If the king himself commits it, a karmapatha is also accomplished. Therefore, what was stated previously is logically superior.'
