16.62

論「隨此表業至二由果滿」，明根本業道。言「彼正命終此剎那頃表無表業是謂殺生根本業道」者，一由加行，謂運手足等；二由果滿，謂所殺命斷。

The Śāstra [states], from "Consequent upon this manifest action" up to "second, due to the fulfillment of the result": this clarifies the maula karmapatha. As for stating, "The manifest and non-manifest karma at this very moment of that [creature's] actual death is called the maula karmapatha of taking life": first, it is due to the prayoga, namely moving the hands and feet, and so forth; second, it is due to the fulfillment of the result, namely the severed life of the one being killed.
