17.133

「論曰至不遮等流」，釋頌文也。同地四果除離繫，地無攝故。有漏異地有二果，異地無等流及異熟故，等無間相生故有士用，增上果寬故有增上。無漏異地加等流，異地有同類因故。

[On] "The treatise says... do not preclude outflowing": this explains the verse text. The same level has four fruits, excluding disjunction, because disjunction is not subsumed under a level. Karmas with-outflows relative to a different level have two fruits: because a different level lacks outflowing and ripening, and because there is virile fruit (puruṣakāra-phala) due to arising in immediate succession, and there is predominant fruit because predominant fruit is broad. The outflow-free relative to a different level adds outflowing, because across different levels there is equal-and-immediate cause (sabhāga-hetu).
