17.43

論「若爾便違至男根亦爾」，破異說。男、女既同極少八根，故知皆能斷善。

The treatise says, "If that were so, it would contradict [...] the male faculty is also like this": this refutes the alternative view. Since men and women are identical in having a minimum of eight faculties, one therefore knows that both are capable of severing the good.
