論「後三業道至故無九十」，釋唯至八所以。以貪、瞋、邪見不俱起故。
The treatise says, "The last three karmapathas [...] therefore there are no nine or ten": this explains why it reaches only up to eight. Because greed, anger, and wrong view do not arise together.
