18.134

論「由滿故者至亦增長名」，釋第二因。或三惡行，若一業墮惡趣、若二墮惡趣、若三墮惡趣。若十惡業，若一業道墮惡趣、若二業道墮惡趣，若乃至十業道墮惡趣。未至墮惡趣前，皆名造作，不名增長；若至墮惡，無問少多皆名增長。

Regarding the Śāstra's "By completion..." down to "...is also called accumulated": this explains the second cause. Or among the three unwholesome actions: whether one karma causes a fall into the bad destinies, two cause a fall, or three cause a fall. Or among the ten unwholesome actions: whether one path of karma causes a fall into the bad destinies, two paths of karma cause a fall, or up to ten paths of karma cause a fall. Before reaching the point of falling into the bad destinies, they are all called performed, not accumulated; once reaching the point of falling into the bad destinies, regardless of whether few or many, they are all called accumulated.
