18.166

「論曰至就勝說修」，明二果別。若兼，勝、劣二果無別。若就勝說，戒感生天，修得解脫。

On the treatise passage from "The treatise says" to "cultivation is spoken of in terms of what is pre-eminent": This clarifies the distinction between the two fruits. If considered comprehensively, there is no distinction between the pre-eminent and inferior fruits. If spoken of in terms of what is pre-eminent, morality induces rebirth in heaven, while cultivation attains liberation.
