18.50

論「若爾何故至邪見最大」，難也。若破僧罪大者，破僧語業，何故身、語、意罰入地獄名為三罰？經說意罰為最重，不說語業。

The Śāstra states: "If so, why is it that [...] wrong view is the greatest?" This is an objection. If the transgression of causing a schism in the Saṃgha is the greatest, since causing a schism in the Saṃgha is vocal karma, why is it that bodily, vocal, and mental punishments that lead into the hells are named the three punishments, and the sūtra states that mental punishment is the heaviest, not mentioning vocal karma?
