18.58

論「若有將得至現法受業」，明第二障。前三惡趣業，唯是生、後，定不言順現法受。此中通二性業，除順現法受，得不還果，不越現果故。

The Śāstra states: "If one is about to attain [...] karma to be experienced in the present life." This clarifies the second obstruction. The previous karmas leading to the three bad destinies are exclusively to be experienced in the next life or in subsequent lives; they definitely are not said to be experienced in the present life. Here, karma of both natures is included, excluding karma to be experienced in the present life, because upon attaining the fruit of the non-returner, one does not transcend the present fruit.
