論「此九雖能至准界應思」，明上緣通局，如文可解。上地、自地不合緣者，以有隨增、無隨增故。

On the Śāstra's: "Although these nine are able... by inference from the realms, one should reflect," this explains the scope and limitation of conditioning what is above, which can be understood from the text. That they do not condition higher stages and their own stage together is due to there being and not being increase in accordance [with the object].
