19.191

論「此據總說至無隨增義」，前是總說，無簡別故。若別說者，遍行隨眠有上緣者，無所緣隨增。不遍隨眠無漏緣者，無所緣隨增。

The Śāstra states: "This is stated according to a general account... there is no meaning of increasing in accordance." The former was a general account because it did not differentiate. If explained in detail: among universal latent defilements, those taking higher grounds as objects do not have increasing in accordance with respect to the object; among non-universal latent defilements, those taking the taintless as object do not have increasing in accordance with respect to the object.
