19.42

論「若許隨眠至是隨眠所為」，大眾部等釋所以也。我宗若許隨眠是不相應者，即上三事是纏所為，不許上三事是隨眠所為。

Regarding the treatise from "If it is accepted that anuśayas... up to... is done by the anuśaya", the Mahāsāṃghika and others explain the reason. If our school accepts that anuśayas are disassociated, then the above three functions are performed by entanglement (paryavasthāna); we do not accept that the above three functions are performed by anuśayas.
