論「我依名內，外謂此餘」，自下別釋內、外。於中有二：初正釋內、外；後問答分別。此即初也。

The treatise says: "The basis of the self is called internal; the external refers to what is other than this." Below is the specific explanation of internal and external. There are two parts within this: first, a correct explanation of internal and external; second, a differentiation by question and answer. This is the first.
