2.70

「論曰至俱非二種」，釋也。文中有二：一釋大造等、二釋積集等。就釋大造等中，有二：一釋十八界中有是大造等、二敘異說。此文初也。觸中有二：七觸是所造、四大是能造。五根、四境及法界無表唯所造，餘俱非二。

On "The treatise says… both are neither": This is the explanation. In the text there are two: first, explaining being derived from the great elements and so forth; second, explaining being accumulated and so forth. Concerning the explanation of being derived from the great elements and so forth, there are two: first, explaining which among the eighteen elements are derived from the great elements, etc.; second, recounting divergent doctrines. This is the first text. Within tangibles there are two: seven tangibles are derived, and the four great elements are the primary creators. The five faculties, the four sense objects, and unmanifest form subsumed under the element of mental objects are exclusively derived; the rest are neither.
