論「若謂能令果成現在」，牒救也。救云：雖一切法一切時有，然非一切法一切時現在，令法現在是因作用。

The Śāstra says: "If they say that it can cause the fruit to become present": this takes up their defense. The rescue states: Although all dharmas exist at all times, not all dharmas are present at all times; causing a dharma to be present is the activity of a cause.
