Regarding the treatise's statement from "By extension from this, of the three realms" to "are the outpouring of ignorance": This presents the intrinsic nature of the outpouring of ignorance (avidyāsrava). Since neither the outpouring of desire nor the outpouring of existence takes ignorance as its intrinsic nature, one knows by logical extension that the fifteen ignorances of the three realms are established as the outpouring of ignorance. Therefore, the stanza only says "ignorance is the root of existences" and does not say that the fifteen ignorances of the three realms are the outpouring of ignorance, because having stated the outpourings of desire and existence, it already reveals that the fifteen ignorances are the outpouring of ignorance.
