論「又彼經中至有緒故者」，此是《大因緣法門經》。言「後行」者，是行支等。等者，等取後十支皆次第說。「有因有緣及有緒」者，即是前支為因、為緣及緒也。《婆沙》二十三云「如《大因緣法門經》說『佛告阿難：「老死有如是因，有如是緣，有如是緒。」』乃至廣說。」《婆沙》從後說，此論從前說。

On the Śāstra's 'Furthermore, in that sūtra [...] having continuation': This refers to the Mahānidānasūtra. The expression 'subsequent conditioned factors' means the factor of saṃskāra and so forth. 'And so forth' includes the subsequent ten factors, all stated in order. 'Having cause, having condition, and having continuation' means that the preceding factor serves as the cause, condition, and continuation. The Vibhāṣā, fascicle 23, states: 'As the Mahānidānasūtra states: "The Buddha told Ānanda: Old age and death have such a cause, have such a condition, and have such a continuation," up to detailed exposition.' The Vibhāṣā speaks from the end forward; this treatise speaks from the beginning forward.
