論「為欲對治至說四聖種」，答。由於飲食、衣服、臥具有無有愛，生愛著故。為治四愛故，聖種唯四。

On the Śāstra's statement: "In order to counter [...] the four noble lineages are taught": The answer. Because of craving for existence and non-existence regarding food and drink, robes, and bedding, craving and clinging arise. In order to counter the four cravings, the noble lineages are four alone.
