23.3

論「如是已說至復何所修」，下三頌，第三明四念住也。前兩頌明別相念住，後一頌明總相念住。此兩行頌明別相也。

[On the *Śāstra*’s:] “Having thus explained … what further is to be cultivated?” the following three stanzas constitute the third section: clarifying the four applications of mindfulness. The first two stanzas clarify the specific-characteristic applications of mindfulness, and the last stanza clarifies the general-characteristic applications of mindfulness. These two stanzas clarify the specific characteristics.
