論「有說此定至增二十八」，第二師釋。有八十種，此師八地道別緣故，加前二十八行，有八十也。

The Śāstra says: "Some say this concentration […] increases by twenty-eight." This is the second master's explanation. There are eighty varieties; because this master holds that the paths of the eight stages are taken separately, twenty-eight aspects are added to the previous [fifty-two], making eighty.
