論「金剛喻定至故名盡智」，釋盡智名。由與諸盡得最初生，故名為盡智。

The Śāstra says: "The vajropamasamādhi […] is therefore called the knowledge of destruction." This explains the name of the knowledge of destruction. Because it arises initially along with the acquisitions of all destructions, it is called the knowledge of destruction.
