24.17

論「先斷三四至無漏根故」，釋闕緣也。若有依根本地入見道等定現般者，至此位時雖成無漏及斷惑等，由闕生故，非是家家及一間也。

The commentary states: "Having previously severed three or four … because of the immaculate faculties," which explains the lacking of conditions. If someone relies on the fundamental stage to enter the path of seeing, etc., and is definitely to attain parinirvāṇa in the present life, when reaching this stage, although they have accomplished the immaculate [faculties] and severed defilements, etc., because they lack births, they are neither one who goes from family to family nor a single-interval practitioner.
