論「由經說故至上界定無」，引經證也。經言有五補特伽羅，即五不還。「此處通達」者，通達即見道異名。此處者，是欲界。「彼處究竟」者，是上二界得涅槃也。

On the passage of the treatise from “Due to what the sūtra says ... up to ‘there is definitely none in the higher realms’”: this adduces a sūtra as proof. The sūtra says there are five pudgalas, namely the five non-returners. “Penetrating here”: “penetration” is another name for the path of seeing; “here” is the desire realm. “Reaching finality there”: this means attaining nirvāṇa in the upper two realms.
