論「有但由根至已得滅盡定」，明由根、定得滿名。於中有三句：第一句但由根、第二句但由定、第三句由根定，如文可解。

On the Śāstra's "Some purely through faculties … have already attained the concentration of cessation": this explains attaining the name 'replete' through faculties and concentration. Therein are three clauses: the first clause is purely through faculties, the second clause is purely through concentration, and the third clause is through faculties and concentration, which is understandable from the text.
