論「煗法位中至說正斷增」，《正理論》云「謂此位中見生死過、涅槃功德，遂能勇猛發勤精進，不墮生死、速趣涅槃，勤用勝故。」

On the Śāstra's statement: "In the stage of the heat-factor... correct abandonment is said to be predominant": The Nyāyānusāra says: "Namely, in this stage, seeing the faults of saṃsāra and the virtues of nirvāṇa, one is thereupon able to heroically arouse diligent vigor, so as not to fall into saṃsāra and to swiftly advance toward nirvāṇa, because the function of vigor is superior."
