論「由證得淨立證淨名」，合釋證淨名。由慧證諦，得淨信、淨戒名證淨。

[On the passage of] the śāstra, "The name 'lucid faith' is established from obtaining purity through realization," this combines and explains the name 'lucid faith' (avetyaprasāda). Because wisdom realizes the truths, one obtains pure faith and pure morality; hence it is called 'lucid faith'.
