25.49

論「經言苾芻至非阿羅漢」，引兩經證聖慧實斷惑不退也。阿羅漢果不退故，佛不勅令應不放逸。

On the Śāstra's statement: "A sūtra says: 'Monks ... but not an arhat'": Two sūtras are cited to prove that what is truly abandoned by noble wisdom is not fallen away from. Because the fruit of arhatship is not fallen away from, the Buddha does not command them to be heedful.
