「論曰至不修他心」,明有學練根。無間道五性非一,故言諸也。是有學故,無盡、無生;似見道故,無世俗智;無間道故,不修他心。所以唯六。

The passage from “The commentary says” up to “does not cultivate [knowledge of] another's mind” explains the refinement of faculties by a trainee. Because the five natures of uninterrupted paths are not uniform, it says “various.” Because one is a trainee, there are no knowledges of exhaustion or non-arising; because it resembles the path of seeing, there is no conventional knowledge; because it is an uninterrupted path, one does not cultivate [knowledge of] another's mind. Therefore there are only six.
