論「前說一切至貪繫是何義」，論主述西方部徵有部前釋。貪繫故名為有貪心，貪繫是何義？論主前依《婆沙》正義。正存貪所繫，後依經部破貪繫心。

On the Śāstra's statement: "As for the earlier statement that all […] what is the meaning of 'bound by greed'?": the author of the Śāstra relates the Western masters' questioning of the Sarvāstivādins' earlier explanation. If it is called a "mind with greed" because it is bound by greed, what is the meaning of being bound by greed? Previously, the author of the Śāstra relied on the correct view of the Vibhāṣā, upholding being bound by greed; subsequently, relying on the Sautrāntikas, he refutes the mind bound by greed.
