27.13

論「已辨自性至名十一地」，已下第二義門分別。一依地、二依身、三釋力義。此第一明依地別也。五通唯依四根本故，由斯第八第九依四禪也。餘文易了，不煩解釋。

[On the passage in] the treatise, "Having analyzed the intrinsic nature... are called the eleven grounds": Below is the second [part], analysis through doctrinal categories: first, according to ground; second, according to physical basis; third, explaining the meaning of 'power'. This first [section] clarifies the distinctions according to ground. Because the five supernormal knowledges rely only on the four fundamental [dhyānas], therefore the eighth and ninth rely on the four dhyānas. The remaining text is easily understood and requires no tedious explanation.
