27.38

「論曰至如共有悲」，此文中有三：一出體、二釋名、三明與悲別。此即第一出大悲體。以普緣一切有情，故非無漏智，是俗智也。

From the Śāstra's 'The treatise says' down to 'just like ordinary compassion': within this passage there are three parts: first, identifying the essence; second, explaining the name; third, clarifying the difference from ordinary compassion. This is the first, identifying the essence of great compassion. Because it takes all sentient beings universally as its objective referent, it is not anāsrava knowledge; it is conventional knowledge.
