27.98

論「此二通依至皆得起故」，明依地也。《正理論》云「此二通依一切地起，辨無礙解於說道中，許隨緣一皆得起故，通依諸地亦無有失。然於其中但緣說者，唯依二地與第三同（已上論文）。」

On the Śāstra's statement: "These two generally rely on ... because both can arise": this clarifies the levels they rely on. The Nyāyānusāra says: "These two arise relying generally on all levels; in the unimpeded comprehension of eloquence, within the path of expounding, it is accepted that it can arise taking either one as its object, so there is no fault in it generally relying on all levels. However, among them, that which takes only expounding as its object relies only on two levels, identical to the third (End of the Śāstra text)."
