論「有餘師說至大善攝故」，述異說也。染定非善但除唯善，自餘通染故不除也。故前文云「非皆具有」。

On the Śāstra's phrase: "Other masters say [...] because they are included in the great wholesome factors": this recounts an alternative explanation. Defiled dhyāna is not wholesome, so one only excludes what is exclusively wholesome; the remaining ones are common to defilement, so they are not excluded. Therefore the earlier text says: "They are not all possessed."
