「論曰至淨及無漏」，此述無漏唯生淨定及無漏定，不生味定。《正理論》云「以極相違，故不生染。此言極者，對淨定說。淨定雖是相違，非極。」

The passage of the śāstra from 'The Śāstra says' down to '...pure and untainted' explains that the untainted gives rise only to the pure attainment and the untainted attainment; it does not give rise to the relished attainment. The Nyāyānusāra says: 'Because they are extremely contradictory, it does not give rise to the defiled. The word "extremely" is said in contrast to the pure attainment. Although the pure attainment is contradictory, it is not extremely so.'
